(Center for Human Welfare)
MKK-USA, Inc. is a 501©3 corporation
VISION
Economic development has created immense wealth and opportunity in North America and India; yet, many have been left behind – in our neighborhoods and in the slums of India. Let us create self-sustaining communities, and a better world, around us through educational support humanitarian aid. Our goal is to make a difference in the lives of bright and needy children, one child at a time – here in North America and in India.
MISSION
We will provide educational support and humanitarian aid to needy and bright students in our communities. We will organize high-quality cultural and social networking events that provide value to our sponsors and customers. We will showcase the talents of our artistic community and our children.
GOALS & OBJECTIVES
- Organize two cultural and social networking events each year with talented artists and raise funds to support our core mission;
- Provide scholarships to needy and bright high school seniors and college students in our communities, especially Prince George's County and Montgomery County, Maryland;
- Provide scholarships to needy students in India, especially those living in slums, that promise to enroll in college and stay off the streets;
- In cooperation with local community groups, organize healthcare and clean-up drives in the slums of India, including trash pick-up, sanitization, immunization, and inoculation;
- Provide adult literacy classes in reading, writing and math to parents and guardians of scholarship recipients;
- Support events with similar missions in our local communities in North America; and
- Run a volunteer organization with little or no overhead.
